"We had a great time at the lodge. The staff were friendly and professional, and Mr. Hopewell went the extra mile to make everything possible for us. The garden was beautiful, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. If we ever go again to Victoria falls, we would stay at the waterfalls lodge."

"I was super excited about staying at Liam's. The proximity to town was good and a safe walking distance. The pros are the staff, they are very accommodating and professional. The breakfast was good an they let you do modifications which allowed me to save food by only ordering what I wanted. I have crazy hot flashes so the fan next to the bed was a huge plus. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The cons are the air conditioning unit leaks very badly, hot water is scarce and I hate cold showers, there were roaches in the coffee creamer and sugar holder on our table at breakfast. The staff was great. The location is great for walking, but I would not personally stay here again. "

"Fantastic friendly staff, great pools, complex is a bit old and tired but lovely grounds and amenities, and still a lovely hotel. Room servicing was good, turndown service was a bit hit and miss, laundry service was efficient, restaurant was quite good, shuttle was awesome and the drivers were exceptionally accomodating and helpful, golf was great, course is a little rough but the caddies were great. The only thing that irked us was that when we paid cash for a drink at the pool bar, or golf course fees, change was not forthcoming. I don’t mind handing it back as a tip but it shouldn’t be assumed. We had no such issue inside the hotel at the bar. "

"This perfectly located hotel within walking distance of the Victoria Falls National Park has beautiful grounds (with antelope, baboons and, one night, a hippo), warm and helpful staff, delicious food and a beautiful pool. A shuttle was available to take us to its sister hotel (The Palms) to use its small but well equipped gym. Highly recommended."
