"Biggest plus was the staff. All so helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a lovely feel about it. In the centre of the city but so quiet at night and comfortable beds. We only has breakfast at the hotel but if that was anything to go by then the restaurant would be great. Also mixes one of the best ‘Old Fashion’ cocktails I have had."

"The internet Wifi was good, the room was clean, more coffee milk sugar needed. Face cloths would be nice in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient stay maybe 100 steps to Norwich Airport. "

"They upgraded us to a fabulous suite but it was too big for us and we didn’t like it so they offered us a preferable smaller room with good grace and humour! Everyone was so lovely and helpful. Brilliant to have a private car park right in the middle of town. Didn’t try the restaurant but would definitely stay there again."

"The room was dusty and cobwebs were around the inside of the window and we had spiders in there. The hotel was not very well maintained, could do with painting and upgrading of some of the furniture. The wooden panelling in pool area needs attention as well. We booked breakfast for 9am and when we arrived the scrambled eggs were dried up, no black pudding, no bacon and no butter available. Parking was fine. I had wanted to stay at the hotel for a while and was disappointed with my overall experience and would not visit agan."

"The property had staff that were helpful and polite we arrived early and the chap let us check in and order us a taxi to get into town . When it was late he kept us informed. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed . The shower products were lovely . The breakfast selection was fab and the morning staff were chatty. The hotel needs a complete overhaul it is dated and tired looking which I can imagine is disappointing for the staff that work hard . They deserve investment in the place they work . There was a front entrance before you got to the main doors that was plain awful and very off putting I was tempted to drive off but we didn’t due to our commitments ."

"My two daughters and I were informed by reception the night before that breakfast would start at a certain time. However, when we arrived the next morning, we were told by the lady behind the bar that because it was a bank holiday, breakfast would open an hour later. While we understood the change, the staff member was very rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional in the way she spoke to us. When we said we would report the matter, she replied, “I don’t care.” I later reported this to reception, where both staff members were very apologetic and understanding."
