"This is the best Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed in and it's the only hotel we use when we travel! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! The property is extremely clean and you can tell they take cleanliness seriously. It is very close to the 101, which is a main thoroughfare around Phoenix. We used this location as a base for our 6 days here for baseball games, Apache Trail, golf, and other activities. The breakfast was good. Always egg options, breakfast meat options, pancakes,...

"Staff were super friendly and genuinely helpful. Rooms were clean but could benefit from a maintenance - eg there was a constant loud humming noise, apparently from the AC, during the night, the blackout curtain was broken midway and wouldn't move and you could feel the springs in the mattress of the pullout sofa. "

"I had a pleasant stay at the Wekopa. The property is beautiful, well maintained and the room was spacious. The breakfast at the WKP sports bar was fantastic, they offer Starbucks coffee.most of the staff were very friendly. Nice place to stay. Only 20-25 min from the Phoenix airport. "

"Was a hassle to get the shuttle. Told to watch for certain vehicle at a certain spot and that was not what showed up!!!
When arrived at hotel, did not receive room we booked and there was no other available room for us. Kids had to sleep on cot and floor!!!! Terrible!

"A/C could not be controlled in the room. The bed was the lumpiest I have ever slept on and the pillows were unbearable. The shower was tiny and the water drained so slowly that it would overflow within a few minutes, even though the water pressure was extremely low. "Everything was very nice except for the person duty when we checked in, his mood was unprofessional and unpleasant. The hotel’s location is the best and the decor is so unique and fun! The free drink card was a very nice touch! Room was quiet, cooled perfectly and bed was comfortable. I would the hotel and just hope you are greeted properly when you check in! Didn’t ruin our time, it was vacation! "
