"My 2 kids (9yo, 11yo) and I went to Rancho Margot for 5 days seeking an immersive experience at a sustainable working farm in the rainforest, near Arenal. It’s about 30 min from La Fortuna. And we got it! We loved it. We experienced what a circular economy looks like, and how it can work. We enjoyed their fascinating workshops on how to make soap, chocolate, and cheese (queso fresco). We swam in their lovely pool. We also did zip lining and thermal springs off-site. Their food is so good and...

"My family and I had a great stay here! JP and his associates welcomed us and made us feel at home. Complimentary breakfast was great and the other meals were delicious. The room itself was great given you are in the jungle, so there was no a/c and typical sugar ants but nothing unexpected. The pool and the views were gorgeous. The hot tub was down while we were there but it wasn’t missed. We took advantage of the Lake Tour and La Tia’s massage services which were both worth the money. We...

"Had a lovely weekend stay here. The view over Lake Arenal is unbelievable! Ana was a delight every morning and made wonderful breakfasts. Her sweet cats roaming around on the property was a huge plus for me. Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and undisturbed but still only 20 minutes from restaurants/conveniences. There are toucans in the trees next to the bungalow every morning."

"Limpieza, mantenimiento y jardinería de la propiedad, excepcionales. El desayuno, maravilloso."

"The gardens are incredible and the many humming birds were a joy. I have been in many art galleries with local art. This is one of the better galleries created from many talented artists."

"Werner and Carlos are beautiful hosts and we really enjoyed the property and the delicious breakfast! We really appreciated that they immediately took the time to make a reservation to the Hanging Bridges and recommend a great restaurant. Thank you both!"

"Breakfast was very good and on time. Try the banana pancakes. Staff was very helpful and toured their farm and coffee plantation. The hikes on property were great and the cloud forest experience could not be better. The rooms are sparse but great for the experience. No AC but was not needed. "

"Muy amables y nos ayudaron con reservación y consejos de lugares a donde ir nos encantó "

"Je suis arrivé à 21h30 et c était fermé mais l emplacement en arrière d un bar pas tellement beau"
