"Room is ok, wish they had some counter space to put out stuff, they just had a small standalone sink and a bench next to it. Great location, cozy little hotel. Love the “reading” area right outside of our rooms, felt like a living room :-). This place is very windy, was waken up a few times because of the wind, but it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. "

"Everything in the description is accurate — our stay at Sangregado Lodge was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the rainforest. The view of Arenal Volcano from both our bedroom and bathroom was breathtaking. Francisco at the front desk was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. "Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again "

"Host Tracy was fantastic and speaks flawless English. She helped arrange a last-minute tour for us and clearly wants to be helpful. The “treehouse” was beautiful. Not much common sitting within the unit, but between the hammock and outdoor seating we were very comfortable. It was wonderful waking up in the treetops! A yummy breakfast is available for $10. "

"This hotel was great for our stay in Monteverde. It was a bit removed from the middle of town but close enough. Our tours were only 10-20 mins drive away. Staff were incredibly helpful and even improvised breakfast for a day we had a very early start. "

"I went here for a mother-daughter trip. Our stay at The Lost Iguana Resort and Spa was lovely- the room was clean, the check in staff was very welcoming. The pool bartender and the spa staff were gracious. We stayed in a room with a view of the Volcano. Even the breakfast and dinners at the restaurant there was very good. The staff was wonderful and having Bobby, the owner's very sweet dogs great you and escort you to your unit is such a treat.
