"The hotel was convenient enough but the surrounding area was frightening. The walk to the hotel entrance felt unsafe and the guest elevator was not working properly. The morning breakfast was very nice but I would’ve gladly traded it for an airport shuttle."

That was a tear in one of the curtains and the French window onto the garden didn’t engage down at the bottom thus not locking properly alsowe had a lightbulb out on the wall lights behind the bed. "The hotel is extremely dated and is far away from being a 4 star hotel. The rooms are small, hot & stuffy. The windows didn’t open fully (safety - fair enough) and the fan provided in the wardrobe was so full of dust it wouldn’t even switch on. Carpets throughout the hotel are old and tatty. On the first day at the reception I was given a room that takes about 6 minutes to walk,I went with 2 suitcases up a steep hill till the hotel area.the weather was really really hot.was not offered for someone to give me a hand!
