"Hotel excellent. Food and restaurant service poor"

"The staff were excellent and very accomywith out children. Sadly the room was not really 4*. The extra bed was very old and couldn’t actually sleep in it. The tv did not work and with 2 children was a bit of a disaster as we had promised them tv before bed. Jacuzzi didn’t work and has not for a long time apparently but it wasn’t communicated to us . Sheets had marks on them. Staff throughout the hotel were excellent and food in evening was great. "

"The hotel has seen better days. It's creaky, faded, with outdated furnishing and facilities. But welcoming, safe, comfortable, with excellent service and a decent breakfast, so a very nice place to stay for the night. Thank you."

"Having read some trip advisor comments i was a little concerned before booking in but i suspect those customers held unrealistic expectations. For the cost it was more than adequate. Friendly efficient staff, rooms as expected, quiet area so got a good nights sleep. It is not the Hilton or the Ritz but you are not paying their prices and it is value for what you pay. "

"Great hotel and everything about it is spot couldn’t put a hotel in a better place for amenities whether it’s a drink some food or a bit of shopping I never had the breakfast this time round as last time I was disappointed as there was no beans and no bacon but I’m sure it’s improved but generally apart from the breakfast the hotel I could not recommend more nice touches with the pringles and chocolate bar in the fridge "
