"Its my 3rd time stay at Ibis Luzern. And always happy to come back this hotel. The location only 5 minutes using a bus from central luzern station (walking around 15 minutes). The room is good and the price so reasonable. They provide a microwave, hot water (coffee and tea) in lobby area. They give a Luzern pass too, so you can enjoy around luzern with free pass. "

"No Air Conditioning! Room gets very hot in the Summer in this historic property and you have to sleep with the balcony doors open to try to cool it down. Got lots of mosquito bites because of that, and it didn't really feel safe."

"The location was perfect and very central. Our room was very spacious and the kitchen was really nice to have. My son enjoyed having the fold-out sofa for his own bed. The different levels (even on the same floor) and many stairs are not the easiest to navigate with luggage. And the self check-in and mandatory check-out was also fairly confusing. But the cafe staff were as helpful as they could be. The laundry room was also a nice addition since we were well into our trip here and needed that...

"37°C outside, 37°C in the room. On arrival, the clerc said the hotel was full, which was untrue. Then we came down to complaint about the lack of ventilation and air-conditioned, we got a first answer that all room on the city side were without AC, which was untrue. She just apologized. We ask a technician to check the device, no-one came. Then on departure, the Front Office Manager said only 8 rooms out of 250 in total had no AC. Why our 2 rooms paid $650 per night paid 2 month in advance and...

"Great location near the old town and in front of the water. The best part is that you can swim in the lake in front of the hotel. The hotel looks great but it feels to me some of the server lack training and perhaps the chain is getting bigger as it doesn’t feel special anymore. In other high end hotels the check in is special, here it feels like any other check in."
