Smiling Places is the most incredible guest house; Elizabeth and Fernando the most wonderful and kind hosts. We were walking the Camino with our children - weary from a long walk - and this was a perfect stop. Washing machine is excellent. Breakfast was plentiful. Beds very comfortable.

This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Great indoor spa facilities (we had a brilliant couples massage) and the outdoor pool is the perfect place to swim and relax with a cocktail. Amazing hotel, amazing hosts, amazing breakfast! Amazing!

Absolutely loved it from the start of my stay. Alberto was a lovely man who was exceptionally gracious, friendly and helpful. Personal touches like little chocolates left on the bed to luxurious towels and bathrobe. Nothing was too much trouble for Alberto or the housekeeper Susanna. The distance from the centre was quite a way but not a problem for me but may be for someone with mobility issues. Would love to visit again.

We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!

We stayed in the apartment block, room 4 at the rear—really quiet, which was ideal. Situated between Sao Bento and the riverside, it's the perfect place to explore this great city.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. Food was great in both the main restaurant and Schisto (tasting menu). Wine tasting at their vineyard was informative snd fun.

The warmest welcome and best check in I have ever known. Excellent central location, really attractive premises, spacious quiet room, comfortable beds. Absolutely all the staff were really friendly and very helpful, all extremely efficient. Breakfast was superb and served in a delightful room with a cafe bar. It was a pleasure to stay there.

This place was simply superb. That started with one of the hosts, Ana, organising a taxi to pick us up from the airport and bringing us to the guest house. Her instructions how to get in and find our key were great. The room was really lovely and slightly quirky with the bare stone wall and bed at a slight angle. The bathroom was large. This is a beautiful boutique hotel well placed on Porto for sightseeing . We had a suite which was fantastic . The staff are superb so friendly helpful and very enthusiastic . The breakfast was very good with excellent service . Would most definitely recommend

The property doesn't have kerb appeal,but come inside and it's fabulous. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the location is fantastic right in the heart of the city.we only have one grumble and that is the breakfast as there is not enough staff and the two girls that were there was run off their feet, also not only the long wait but breakfast was cold. We do recommend this hotel but breakfast needs more staff.

This is the perfect hotel in the perfect location, everything worth seeing is a brief walking distance away and the Trindade train station is a short walk away to make the airport to hotel journey (and vice versa) very easy. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, the exceptional customer services across the reception, the breakfast room and the room cleaning services.
