"i've booked with this hotel twice already. immediately after my first trip i was adamant that if i came back to kyoto again i had to rebook at this same hotel. the hotel is very close to the subway station and has many convenience stores nearby. it was great having laundry available and the service was very cheap as well. the highlight of this hotel is the onsen there are many different baths. I do wish that the women's bath had an ice bath though as the mens bath did. however the onsen was...

"Great location. Our room was huge compared to other hotels we had stayed at in Japan. Great vibes at the rooftop bar upstairs but it does get busy. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful."

"Our 1st room was great until we stepped on wet carpet that smelled like urine (huge area). Assuming pet (I hope). They wanted to dry it and have me star in that room! NO! Finally got another room. They give 3 coffees in room. After we finished I wanted more, I was told there was a charge. NOPE, I go get some elsewhere and ask for housekeeping to restock for next day. 2 ppl later get back to the room - no coffee refills or amenities- which they charge daily for. Took 3 ppl to get that finally....

"ホテルの立地は京都駅からも一駅で観光にも便利でした。必要最低限の設備は揃っていて快適に過ごしました。難を言えば部屋のユニットバスが狭く入り口に段差があり、出入りに手間取るぐらいですかね。でも、それを十分補う価格の安さで満足でした。朝食も夕食もついて、ついついホテルに早く帰ってきてしまうw。夕飯でお腹いっぱいになり、昼間歩いた疲れからを大浴場でゆっくり足を伸ばして癒やし、夜更かし等もせず寝てしまいました。規則正しい生活が送れますw。宅急便の発送等もできて便利でした。"

"It is a very spacious room compared to most places, very clean. the dryer is a little weak and left most of my clothes still very damp which wasn't an issue for me but it may be for others depending on time. really the worst part was the front desk staff seems upset to interact with guests, one receptionist in particular, maybe the others are better but I kept working with her and she made me feel unwelcome (I always came up by myself, had information ready and didn't have questions to harass...
