"A big historic railroad train station that still had a lot of old or antique design and decoration. I most enjoyed my 2 nights. The only minus was a Do Not Enter sign when there was only 1 way in or out....., I complained to a hotel employee and it was quickly rectified by adding another sign...., just take off that Do Not Enter sign until you have both exits completed again."

"Sought partial refund from general manager when checked out as woke up to toilet being clogged so could not use without possibly flooding. Upon calling front desk at 6AM told maintenance nor manager was NOT in yet there should be one in lobby bath yet none to be found:(by bath to find a plunger yet none in there. Manager said since booked with Expedia refund had to be initiated through them"

"Very unkept building, hallways and rooms. The ceiling was falling down in the hallways and room. The bathtub was crack and pipes to water handles in the tub were exposed. The beds were stained and had cigarette burns and the toilet had a loogie spit in it. Extremely large pot holes in the parking lot. If I could rate it zero, I would. Staff was friendly and did provide a refund with no issues. "

"Given the location half -way between our house in Maine and our daughter's house in Virginia, we have stayed in that Scranton area spot 4 times a year for nearly 15 years. Once, due to a traffic jam on US 81, we arrived at about 1;30 am. We were welcomed and only needed to pay about $90 for our room. We have never been treated better anywhere-, than as we are always treated at that Holiday Inn."
