"We arrived well after their last. Check in time of 10pm, which we weren't aware of(our fault for not reading the fine print). We were able to contact one of the principles of the inn and he immediately sent someone from home down to accomodate us. We were very grateful as we had just flown to London and drove 7 hours to Edinburgh and were exhausted. Sincere thanks and keep up the great work"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Folly Hotel, my single room was small but very cosy and quiet, and the bed was so comfy! I had everything I needed. A welcoming basket of snacks is provided in your room on arrival and although cooked breakfasts aren't available you are provided with some breakfast food items in your room. "Great price and room for the weekend. Only 3 dedicated parking spaces out front and if they're taken you have to move your vehicle every 2 hours around the square because of parking restrictions. Stairs and passages are tidy but could do with an update. Overall happy with the establishment."
