"The staff were absolutely amazing! I couldn’t say one negative thing about them. Very helpful giving directions etc unfortunately we had issues with the cleanliness of our room and had to change. One room had what appeared to be blood on the wall. Very disappointed as this hotel is supposed to be a 4 star."

"The hotel is in a lovely building, but the decor in our room was odd and dated - it needed a bit of tlc and updating in our opinion. Lovely views of the city and beyond. We wish the blinds/curtains had been black out, as it got quite light in the morning. The big light in our room flickered a lot, so we couldn’t use it. Free parking was great. The room was cleaned each day and had basic amenities - kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board and a safe in the wardrobe."

"The hotel was incredible. The food and drinks weren’t just the best we had while in the UK, but some of the best we’ve ever had worldwide. The consistency of all the drinks and meals was out of this world! Highly highly recommend. "

"Breakfast was fine. Staff is nice, but not super competent. Plumbing issue not addressed in a reasonable time frame. Double booked my room and had a stranger enter. They fixed it, and in the process voided my key. Had to keep reminding restaurant that i was registered for breakfast due to the room change issue. Great location. "

"Staff appear over run by the amount of visitors to this hotel - management need to consider this! Breakfast is chaos, perhaps consider allocating time slots on check in? Breakfast was appeared hot but of average quality. We gave up because it was so hectic. Can't fault the staff on the ground floor, they're doing a great job under very difficult conditions from what I witnessed. They need better support!"

"The room was spacious! The breakfast was very filling. The staff was always able top answer any question I had. The was a woman by the name Victoria and she was so pleasant every time I interacted with her. The ability to do laundry part way through are stay was convenient as well. The hotel is perfectly located just outside the down town area making it a quiet environment but an easy walk to all the attractons. "

"The bed was really uncomfortable, we could hardly get any sleep. I guess it is relatively close to the sights (15-20mins walk) and the staff working there was very nice and helpful. The apartment itself was not the cleanest or in the best shape unfortuntely."

"Reception staff were helpful, we had a blocked sink drain and it was rectified the next day. Rooms had everything we needed. No frills but was comfortable. Tea and coffee restocked daily in rooms. Air con and heating both worked well."
