Beautifully appointed hotel in lovely countryside.A delightful area with interesting country villages close by and easy access to Bristol.

The Anchor is a village pub with some rooms at the back. We were in "Lavers" which, I suspect, is the smallest room but perfectly fine for the two of us. The room itself was immaculate, clean with good quality fittings and views over open countryside. We only had a small shower room but again well appointed. Wow! What an amazing two days. We stayed in the King Henry VIII Suite, which was such a fantastic experience. The restaurant meals were superb and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Superb property superb staff superb food we will return

Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. Spotlessly clean with a delicious breakfast. Very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Very welcoming staff, the room was very comfortable and the chef produced very tasty meals. A very enjoyable stay!

This hotel is worth ten stars, the staff are so professional and friendly, food is amazing, spa is upkept to perfection standards and extremely relaxing, all set in the the most beautiful surroundings. Beds very comfortable, especially the pillows, rooms are large and when you drive away from this piece of heaven, you start booking your next stay in your mind.

We stayed at Mollie's Motel, the rooms were excellent, even had Ghk straighters and hair dryer, beds were so comfy, we eat in the diner also great, would definitely recommend 👍👍

We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.

Really nice property in quiet location. Food was great

Very good value and close to a bus stop, which was useful for us. Helpful owner.

Room was spacious and clean. Hot water in the shower is not great, it keeps alternating between hot and cold, so it doesn't provide a continuous flow of hot water. Breakfast was good, overall, good value for money.

Very busy weekend but beautiful hotel and great food
