"While I do appreciate a early checkin, there was a mixup and I got charged not only the fee I paid online, but the full fee and deposit along check-in (deposit was expected, full charge was not but was cleared up when I brought it up, did cause my bank to place a temporary hold and lock funds up, but the vacation was still a hit). The major disappointment was finding out GWL dosent do the buffet if they have under 80% occupancy, and the normal food is quite awful, definitely not worth $140+ for...

"Reported the Ceiling fire alarm was flashing way to bright at night when it dark at with curtains drawn. So could not sleep. The fix I discovered was to open the Window Curtains so that the Car Park lights reduced the flashing of the Ceiling light Fire alarm to an acceptable faint flashing light so that I could get to sleep. "We only needed a room for one night. We arrived about 5:30 p.m. check in was very simple and quick. The hotel was fully booked, but it was actually very quiet. The food offerings near by were fine. We were not looking for anything fancy or special, just something wholesome and tasty. The morning when we checked out only took about two minutes. They offered the usual hotel breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"Time for a make over. Property and hotel getting old, it would certainly be a good idea for a major make over. Beds are comfy, room and bath very clean, but that bathroom is small and the door doesn’t help. We’d stay again, family in the area, it just needs some changes and refreshing."
