"Good morning,
I just wanted to let you know that I experienced a few problems with breakfast during our stay.
Firstly, on Saturday morning, when I asked for a coffee, I was given a half cup of cold black coffee by a young man. I did not say anything at the time. The following morning, I bought my own coffee and noticed that everyone else in the restaurant was being served coffee in a small cafetière. I did not understand why this was not offered to me.

"The room and amenities and view and building and staff were all lovely. Very luxurious feeling hotel. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty vegetarian options.
The only downside is there's no lift/elevator and 47 plus stairs is a bit much for me but if you have no mobility issues 100 out of 10 would definitely recommend "

"Everything about CoDE is top notch in my opinion. Very clean, with private quiet areas to chill. No keys or cards to fumble with, all areas are secure with your own "code". I traveled with my son so we opted for the twin room with private bath, was perfect. I booked through Expedia last year and when we arrived there were issues with the booking but were delt with care, professionalism and swiftly resolved. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. "Stay at this hotel. It felt like our home away from home in Edinburgh. Rianne (I think that’s how her name is spelled) and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, which makes a big difference when you’re traveling in a foreign country. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was the best we had at any hotel in Scotland, the location was excellent - central to everything but still pretty quiet for a good night’s rest. "On arrival, the check in agent was friendly and helpful, allowing us early check in and advising us on the best transport options to reach the Consulate in the city centre.
The room itself was clean and clearly part of the hotel that has been modernised, with new tiling in the bathroom.
