"Staying here is an extraordinary experience, stepping back in time to a ryokan as it was in the 1950s (and almost as it was in 1920). The hospitality is exceptional, the staff attentive and capable, and the room spacious and evocative of an earlier era. "This hotel was top notch! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the kaiseke dinner and breakfast were amazing. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We loved the private onsen on our balcony. It was very relaxing as we could see and hear the nearby stream. We'd definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area."
