"We had an excellent stay at the buttery. It was a very convenient location and the room was very suitable. There was plenty of storage, places to sit, and it was easy to access outlets for charging our devices. The showers and bathroom were nice and the air conditioning was very effective. During the day, there was some noise from the street but at night it had become completely quiet. "

"Room was large and clean. Clean linens and soft towels. A fan was already provided since it was very warm in Oxford during our visit. Check in was easy and check out was even easier. Great location for walking to Cowley Rd for meals."

"La camera, noi ne avevamo una al piano terra lato ingresso principale, si trova in un bel edificio a due piani in una via tranquilla a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro storico e dalle università, appena fuori dalla ressa dei turisti. La camera è spaziosa e pulita e la colazione si fa in cucina ed è ricca e varia. Ha inoltre un parcheggio per quattro auto, due davanti e due dietro. "This was a really lovely place to stay. We received the warmest of welcomes and excellent service from all the staff throughout. The room was well presented, clean and spacious and despite being near a busy road was very quiet. The food served in the pub was simple, fairly priced and delicious. The location was brilliant with Coate Water tucked behind so we enjoyed a couple of beautiful walks by the lake. I would definitely recommend The Sun Inn and look forward to returning."

"Julie and Ayman are great hosts. You do feel like you're a guest in their home. We had several fun conversations with them, and a couple of times found myself feeling like I was talking to an extended family member (Ayman and his strong feelings about diesel and electric cars comes to mind, as well as Julie and her careful breakfast service). Overall it was the personal experience we were hoping for as visiting Americans. Only other thoughts are: there is no tennis court on site. That might be...
