He showed us to our room while giving us a quick rundown of the property and invited us to refreshments on the patio before dinner. He joined us and four other guests at dinner during which he provided an interesting history of the century’s old estate/vineyard and the Calheiros family. "We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony.
