The property is lovely, the premium room was worth the extra, the amenities were nice (but frustratingly short windows to access pool/gym/sauna). The English breakfast was fine, not too many healthy options.
The inexperienced check out receptionist and often rude staff, however, tarnished the experience—culminating in a harried argument when the receptionist tried to make me double pay for the stay, and couldn’t be convinced otherwise/didn’t understand that I had already paid (even when shown proof)—and she insinuated that I was stupid. When I said we were trying to leave to catch a flight, they didn’t seem to care about the time sensitive nature, and it took ages for another staff member to appear (which was a theme—for a huge property I never saw more than one or two people anywhere).
