"We always have a great day at the Red Roof Inn Doswell/Kings Dominion. The outlet in the bathroom did not work but there was one right outside the door next to the Mirror. Other than that we had an awesome stay."

"Well me stay here was very pleasant and convenient! Me and my friend planned a 2 day trip to Kings Dominion, and booked here for a few days to have some place to rest, its super close to the park which makes it better, my friend ultilized the gym mainly, and we had fun in the pool, it was super refreshing after a hot and humid day at the park, also the place was super tidy and staff was attentive to help and very nice, the breakfast there was also dslicious and its super easy to use their...
"This hotel was perfect for our family's visit to Kings Dominion. Its literally right acrossed the road. You can see the park tower from the hotel. The room was super comfortable and clean. Breakfast got the job done. My college student son loved the coffee bar that was complementary 24-hrs/ day. There was even cookies at Check-in. I highly recommend. "
"Bed was comfortable. AC did not work until manager came and unplugged it and plugged it back in to reset it. Cord was hidden under carpet. Took the towels after the first night even though we hung them up but never brought fresh. The hallway carpet was stained and very dirty. Breakfast area was very basic. One carafe of coffee that always seemed to be empty. Spills on the floor right in front of the elevator that patrons had to walk around but the staff did too. It was an ok stay for two nights...
"There was a small issue with the light in the bathroom. I let the gentleman at the counter know about it and he was able to quickly switch us to another room. We also had to wait on a ride after our checkout and after returning our rental car. We were wed to wait in the lobby until our ride arrived. Staff was more than willing to help out and made our stay there very welcoming and was a pleasure. Would stay there again without hesitation. "

"Food options on-site we're not that great. Internet access was available, but connection was slow and would occasionally drop. The beds we're sleep-able, but not what I would call comfortable. Stay away from the pool until some serious DEEP CLEANING is done. The hotel is under renovation, so this may help with some of the issues. However, I would suggest bringing your own towels and such, if you require more than one set...because that is all that you're going to get."
