"We had 2 rooms. 1st of all to start 1 of the keys didn't open the door and we had to go back to the lobby to get it fix. Then as soon as we enter the room it had a very terrible odor. We ask for 2 rooms and I ask to have connecting rooms well I didn't get my request. Pool was close for maintenance and hotel needs an update."

"based on the price and the google maps photos, i wouldnt go into this expecting too much. it's close to kings dominion (a short walk through the connected parking lot) which was all i really wanted. so that was cool. but the room had a weird, unpleasant smell in it and it didnt seem to be kept up with much at all. there wasnt even soap in the bathroom hand soap dispenser."

"The hotel was very dirty and was not kept well on the outside. There was garbage everywhere. There was bugs. The bolt on the door didn’t work. The toilet ran very loud all night."

"Avoid at all costs. The photos of the room I have seen prior to booking were all a complete lie. The room was dirty, there were bugs popping up frequently, the floorboards were not fully leveled, and there were multiple holes and cracks in the walls. No appliances for food either and the wifi is terrible. There was also no smoke alarm which I believe is a serious violation. You're better off paying a few more bucks for somewhere else nearby, especially if you are there for Kings Dominion."

"The water preasure and temperature were amazing! The bed was soft, pillows plush but that frame was loud! Haha. It's on the nicer end of what you'd expect from a truck stop motel of that price but it was one I'd go back to."

"Lot's of Lot's Lizzards. Gross bed, sheets, pillows, comforters all dirty. Broken windows, the room reaked of cigarettes, slime on bathtub floor, ripped up walls, shower rod, ceiling exct. If you are into all of that, this is the place for you!"

"I whole heartedly urge you to take your money somewhere else or put it to better use. I never write reviews but feel obligated and compelled to do so here. This place was expensive in comparison to similar nearby hotels and yet the service was absolutely and completely GARBAGE. The AC was not working in one of our rooms, a suite for that matter. The very unfriendly with zero customer service skills front desk rep told us to call the manager. Called the manager, left a voicemail and never heard...

"The beds and pillows were comfortable, the room was dirty and had bugs. The first night the lady at the front desk was amazing but the next couple of days had different staff members and they were ok, not very helpful. Each day I had to go to the office to get my room key fixed because it wouldn’t work. We couldn’t watch TV because it didn’t work and the staff was unable to fix it. We had a non smoking room but always smelled like cigarettes and weed. Wouldn’t stay here again!"

"Stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean and comfortable. Was pleasantly surprised to see that our room had been serviced while out for a day at the theme park. Since covid this is rare. Breakfast was good. Would recommend this hotel."

"This property was very unique experience. They outrighttly said that they dont have my booking. After showing them the confirmation from expedia, they still refused and said how can they book the property. We dont have such rooms and we dont make money with them. After being told that I am traveling with 4 kids and need a night stay, they offered 2 beds and asked for $50 with no extra blankets. Horrible experience and I am going to spread this word across."
