"Very disappointing stay at Sofitel The Palm Dubai. We arrived at 4 PM and our room was still not ready despite the advertised 3 PM check in, only gaining access around 4:30 PM. After that, it took over an hour to set up the sofa bed despite informing staff that our children were exhausted and needed to rest. The biggest frustration was the valet service. The team could not locate our car, and it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to retrieve it. Service throughout the hotel was consistently slow...

The hotel rectified this and sent someone to vacuum the room. 4 hours later they offered to upgrade our room and give us a late checkout.
