This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers."

"This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again."

"Lift out of order. Pool spa out of order. Room and bathroom very tired. Room layout was like something was missing. Bed uncomfortable. Only upside was free water and 2 packets of biscuits."

"The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude"

"We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks."

"Overall, our stay was okay, but there were a few disappointing aspects that took the shine off what should have been a straightforward overnight stay. Before booking, we asked about checking in early because we were attending a wedding and our coach was leaving at 11am. The hotel was completely inflexible and stuck rigidly to its 3pm check-in policy. However, when we arrived at 10am, the receptionist said early check-in was available for £10 an hour, subject to room availability, which would...

"Good staff great food"

"First, the room was not as advertised on the number of people who could sleep in it I had to pay for another room for my kids. After, that we settled in and noticed the rooms were not cleaned. The bedding,floor and toilet was had dirt from the previous guest in fact I was too ashamed to let the staff know after paying extra money had to leave the next day as early as possible. "
