"Don't expect a deluxe breakfast. It's more like a continental breakfast. One ice machine on 1st floor. The orange just was so sweet. The checking guy was kind of rude too. The room was big and clean.."

"The only that I liked about the hotel was that the bed was comfortable. The rooms had that damp moldy smell to them. The pictures were misleading from the website. They need to update the rooms. The bathroom had dirty tile and there was someone’s fingernail still in the floor. I won’t stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel to any friends. The staff were great and friendly tho."

"My only suggestion would be to not allow pets in the breakfast area during breakfast hours. I know it is attached to the lobby, but we witnessed a larger dog with his owner sniffing the buffet area, and it worried us about the cleanliness a little."

"Quick trip to Des Moines for a fancy dinner and a trip to the zoo. Clean, modern room and a very helpful front desk. Spent more on dinner than the room. 14th Street is busy, and you may need to do turnaround off a side street, but you can get to just about anything you need from there without much travel."

"The room was used by my son and his family (three children 3 and under) and they were very happy with the space. They said the breakfast was good and the two oldest did well on the pullout sofa (the first time they'd ever been so brave!) I never saw it personally, but they said they would definitly stay again."
