"The room was clean. A bit small and decor was simple. Room lighting could be improved upon. Bathroom was large but we had trouble getting a hot shower. UK shower arrangements are often a puzzle. Separate hot water switches and not in the bathroom. Instructions would help for those guests that are unfamiliar. "Beautiful old hotel with lots of charm. Comfortable clean rooms. Be careful to read the parking signs on the street as they don't tell you when you check in the parking is only free untill 9am so we got a $100 parking ticket at 905am."

"We think of a B&B in the traditional way, where someone welcomes you into their home. This was more like an Air B&B, but with continental breakfast supplied. We were lucky enough the first morning to find someone to call a cab for us, but never saw anyone after that except other guests.
