"This hotel is older. First the positives. It was clean and the room itself was somewhat updated. The elevator was so small you cannot fit more than 2 people in it. Hallway carpeting looks to be about 30 years old and the stairs were very narrow. The bathroom was clean but exceptionally small. The toilet flushed on the top but you could barely reach the button because there was wood over the top. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. "

"Great location! Walkable to the pier, restarants and souvenir shops! Great items to borrow. Beautiful lobby area with that fire always going. Expensive valet/overnight parking and our hallway smelt like wet dog."

"Staff and spirit of hospitality are in constant supply at Centric. Emerson's service for our birthday party made it perfect. He was patient and anticipated each guest's desires. He helped me feel like I was a great hostess! Manager looked for ways to help us feel at home. Location is convenient and rooms have great orientations towards the ocean and city - not far from beach - far enough to enjoy utterly quiet sleep hours. Nice facilities. Bar and food offerings are well prepared. Good for pleasure and working visits for me."

"We had an a/c problem on the second night of our stay that only resolved in the morning as their engineer/maintenance manager does not stay for the night. We slept at 77 F all night it was so uncomfortable. Popped the sliding doors open for air and it was also very loud outside. Requesting for compensation for a portion of that night atleast."
