"As with the HIE at East midlands airport 2 days ago, everything was great. The only down side was that the water in the shower wasn't too hot."

"I was nervous about this property having booked in a rush and not having read reviews. However upon arrival I found it easy to park and a lovely entrance with beautiful character features. The ladies in reception were friendly and welcoming and they upgraded me to a superior room which I was very pleased with. "I stayed here because it is conveniently located and had no expectation. The hotel was above and beyond. The food is just phenomenal even if a little pricey. Both breakfast and dinner were simply superb. Will come back "

Great food and drinks at reasonable prices and both our evening meals and breakfast very high quality. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"ok for the night cheaper than close alternatives easy to find breakfast is toast and cereal and nice coffee all provided free 6am till 10am which is a nice touch matress not great but not bad either nice shower over small bath but bath is useable reception is brilliant and friendly and very quick to book in a few workmen using as a local base but all were chatty and friendly there is a pub next door 30 second walk food expensive but ok overall well worth a stay if you are tired for the night in...
