"Good location for restaurants and visiting Herculaneum in Ercolano. Short train journey to either Naples or Pompeii and small book able tour coach leaves the train station each morning to visit Vesuvius weather permitting. Very comfortable accommodation with breakfast and fully recommend for a unique Italian experience."

"A great hotel with views of Vesuvius. Staff were first class. Good sized room. All spotlessly clean. Huge grounds in which to walk or relax. Pool with loungers & towels supplied plus the poolside bar. On site parking with buggies available to bring luggage to or from your car. Also courtesy bus from the nearest station (free) or the airport (chargeable). Good breakfast buffet. We didn't try the restaurant. Good location for visiting Pompeii or Herculaneum. "

"Very handy B&B for the ruins (Ercolano itself, plus Pompeii), the coast (Sorrento) and Naples, right on the train line from Naples to Sorrento. Handy for getting to/from the airport, too. Staff/owners very friendly and helpful and lots of dining options very nearby. My only niggle is that the hot water in the shower would come and go, but that was a minor thing. Overall, a great stay."

"This place is incredible! An amazing cliffside setting with direct access to the emerald water of the Mediterranean. However, because of its setting, there are a lot of stairs (not for those who are out of shape). There are 165 steps down to the accommodation from the main road (staff helped with luggage) and another 300 steps down to the water.
