"This has to be the nicest hotel in Ercolano. We have been traveling and staying at hotels throughout Italy. This one was my favorite. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Ercolano or Pompeii. Its near the train station and the stop/ pick up for the express shuttle for Mount Vesuvius. "

"This was an amazing place to stay. I loved the view of Vesuvius and the fruit orchard in the back yard. Everything was very clean and secure. There was a wonderful pizza place within walking distance. Loved the proximity to Herculaneum and the local train station. "

"Good location for restaurants and visiting Herculaneum in Ercolano. Short train journey to either Naples or Pompeii and small book able tour coach leaves the train station each morning to visit Vesuvius weather permitting. Very comfortable accommodation with breakfast and fully recommend for a unique Italian experience."

"Excellent stay at Maison di Fiore with easy access to Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Naples / the airport. This is real family hospitality - their whole family went out of their way to make my stay amazing and personal, offering a custom experience through transport (they took me to Herculaneum, Vesuvius and the airport themselves) and excellent food. I haven’t experienced such good hospitality in a long time, truly 5 star! "

"A great hotel with views of Vesuvius. Staff were first class. Good sized room. All spotlessly clean. Huge grounds in which to walk or relax. Pool with loungers & towels supplied plus the poolside bar. On site parking with buggies available to bring luggage to or from your car. Also courtesy bus from the nearest station (free) or the airport (chargeable). Good breakfast buffet. We didn't try the restaurant. Good location for visiting Pompeii or Herculaneum. "

"What a wonderful place to stay! Comfortable room, fully-equipped, air con and a great shower. Lovely old building with high ceilings. Quiet. Fabulous and abundant breakfast of delicious crostate, cakes and filled croissants. Lovely conversation with the owner. Next time I come to Naples I will definitely stay here."

"Great hotel, the staff were really helpful, nothing was to much trouble. It’s was quite early in the season so dining was limited. The hotel itself is a little isolated but ideal for trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum "

"The mini fridge never was cold. I was told that it would be swapped out with another one. But, it never was. The room was clean and had air conditioning. It was quiet sometimes. It was located in a condominium complex. It was more of a BNB than a hotel as there were 4 rooms. I would stay here again if the fridge was fixed. There was a grocery store down the street and I bought snacks that needed to be refrigerated."

"This was a great place to stay if you want to be out of the busyness of Naples. You really need a rental car but it is a short drive to Pompeii or hurculenium. About an hour to paestum. Great restaurants nearby but not really walkable. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were helpful. "

"The hotel was great, Antonio the maître and all his staff were excellent and nothing was an issue to make us feel welcomed and to have a wonderful stay, train stations were about a 15 minute walk, great location to catch a train to Pompeii, Sorrento or Naples, the Herculenium is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel, great stay"

"I didn't stay ! After arriving and having the owner yelling at me and then yelling at Hotels.com rep. And feeling very unsafe, threatened, scared and locked in!! I left in absolute Tears. Even a man sitting on the bench out front says the owner is horriblen yelling all the time. Don't go here unless you're ready to battle.!!"

"Only downside is there are 53 stairs up and no elevator. Great history of the building and Salvadore is a great host. Just a short walk to Herculean and restaurants close by."
