"This hotel looks very new, great location near Atocha train station. Not far from El Retiro nor Madrid’s old district and the Prado Museum. Room was small, but for 2 people, it was adequate. WIFI worked very well. The hotel was built with great attention to detail, nice looking floors, different wall finishes, nice bathroom w a walk in shower, a towel electric drying rack, AC was perfect! "The check in system was not working and the there was no desk help since they leave at 5. The scanner was down so we had manually enter all the info which was a lot but it malfunctioning and keep starting over. the elevator was not working so we had to carry all the luggage upstairs. The pool was dirty and full bugs and hair. and the room keys didn’t unlock the main entrance door when coming and going so we got stuck for a while until we realized that they send a separate code upon check in...

"The hotel is well-situated for the big Galleries, the Retiro Park, and the Botanic Gardens. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the locality. I had one meal in the hotel restaurant: it was very nicely served. I did not breakfast in the hotel, I prefer to go out and find a bar or cafe. The room was clean and comfortable; I had a balcony looking out east over the trees of the Botanic Garden. The reception staff were friendly and helpful."
