"Stayed just for one night. Only a few minutes walk from Atocha Train Station, suited for my overnight stay, having an early train ride the following day. Hotel property is clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Had breakfast before I left , for £12 , for me a good value for a breakfast buffet. You can walk from here going to Retiro Park to pass the time before being able to check -in a three. And also going to Madrid Centro is fast by taking Metro 3 , will only take about five minutes. Overall my experience was pretty good."

"Well........this place was just "ok" with us. I don't want to bash them but walking in from the street was a bit underwhelming. The ground floor colors and appointments were kind of dreary. It did not make you feel happpy booking your next several days in Madrid there. Brighten this place up! Breakfast offerings were not so good. I will focus on the fresh fruit that did not look fresh. Not appealing at all. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Hope this info helps you."

"We will remember most the bar and the staff (very, very king and happy). Sorry but hotel was average, to be fair we missed read that it was a hostel, ideal for ‘back packers’, bit focusing in the positive; great walking distance location for many attractions, markets, metro and atocha train station"

"The previous occupant smoked in the room and all the hotel did was spray perfume to mask the smell and the cigarette smell became evident at night when the perfume smell wore off. I also found cigarette butts near and outside the window and took photos as evidence. Upon check out, the reception staff did not offer any discounts or even an apology. The plus side is that the guy at check in and the breakfast lady were very friendly and helpful. "
