"The A/C was a little noisy. They were ants in the kitchen area. The room needed a black out curtain over the kitchen window. The bathroom needs a fan to remove the steam from shower"

"Just don’t waste your money! The food in the restaurant gross and overpriced. Bar tenders suck as they use generic alcohol. The guest services reps are RUDE! You have to tip shuttle drivers if you want a ride to and from your room and the way the layout is of the property you will want/need the shuttle. And don’t get me started on that funky smelling beach that you cannot even get on due to the funky seaweed. You have to take a shuttle to an offsite beach. Save your money! "

"Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a microwave in the room and coffee available in the lobby. The sitting area was nice unless there was a boat nearby that gave a diesel smell. Cruise ships did not dock in front of the hotel but further down the dock, so our view was not blocked. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the sky-tram which was nice."

"Stayed at the resort for 4 nights . The room was clean . Bed was soft for my comfort. Additionally, Air conditioning was set and unable to get a remote to change the temperature to adjust temperature for ones comfort. Toilet kept running and bathroom shower pipe dripping for the duration of the stay . Hotel upkeep is poor . The photos online were very deceiving and did not accurately reflect the condition of the hotel or the room we received. "Booked a last minute trip here with my wife and daughter. We absolutely loved everything. The food was great, the room was very clean and updated unlike what we saw from other resorts. Honestly dont let a few bad reviews sway you about staying here. We will be back to the Buoy House next year. Well worth the price to stay here."
