"Bare bones hotel… not worth it for the price. Has a ton of potential if someone wanted to rehab/ clean it up. "

"A moldy shower head and slow shower drain, but otherwise a safe, comfortable, quiet and clean place to stay."

"No elevator, so climbing stairs up 3 floors with suitcases was rough. The room was in need of repairs. A recent water main break had the shower water coming out rusty. The only positives were the location and the pleasantness of the staff. "

"The hotel is known for its views which are wonderful. However, the room was clean, but television was hard to work, sink had no drain catch, and no surface areas in the bathroom to place items. Would have appreciated a coffee pot because no coffee available until 8 AM. "

"The hotel is located in a bad, sketchy area and I did not feel safe during my stay. The room lacked basic amenities such as a safe, microwave, glasses, and tea/coffee facilities. The shower water temperature fluctuated between cold and warm, with very poor water pressure, and there was no shampoo provided. Additionally, there were problems with the electricity. "

"Air conditioning is defective. Lost power twice. No hair blower, parking is not easy. Only the celiling cools me off. Can't use the tv because had to log in each time. Room per night is overprice and not a standard hotel."

"Update the rooms, the concierge ladies at night were not polite or helpful, the generator at night was making to much noise. The room was not properly cleaned. "

"Highly recommended. The room was clean and spacious, parking was a non issue, the staff did great making sure we had everything we needed from places to go and help with luggage. We stayed with our 2 kids ( 5 and 3 ), so absolutely great for family and/or solo."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Right on the beach and ghe hilltop pool was fantastic. My only complaint would be the food at the restaurant. Ordered avocado toast and what I received was store bought guacamole and it was horrible. You’re on an island with beautiful avocados everywhere and you serve store bought guacamole?!! And the worst part of all, there was no land shark beer. How is it possible to be at the...

"What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"
