While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. "Very clean comfortable room with a sea view, this was larger than rooms in most hotels which we liked but would not be described as luxurious more a good quality well maintained room. From the outside the hotel does not impress but this is no indication of the quality of the room and the friendly helpful staff. "I only stayed for the 1 night after a migraine prevented me from driving home. The receptionist was lovely explaining all the amenities whilst totally understanding how unwell I was feeling. She checked me in quickly and sent me off to my room with some biscuits. The rooms are spacious with a lovely comfy bed. As I said, it was a last minute stay but would definitely stay again."

"Property is in a good location but affected by a derelict building site on the drive way and lots of road noise even at 2am in the morning as situated on the main Plymouth road, lots of late night HGV noise.
