"The management at this hotel was wonderful! There was an issue with our booking, at no fault of the owner, and they went above and beyond to make it right. Expedia made the mistake but the owners is this hotel made zero excuses and ensured that we had a room to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend this hotel. The lobby breakfast was also surprisingly well put together. 5 stars for these folks!"

"The front desk was greatly understaffed when a bus load of seniors arrived to check in. There was only one young man working and he was overwhelmed so the process was painfully slow for those of us waiting to check in after that group. When a manager (?) finally showed up, she started quizzing the young worker instead of jumping in to help. As far as the room goes, I suggest asking to be in the back building unless you want to start smelling the breakfast being cooked at 6am. Lastly, checkout...

"Very walkable property to the downtown. Parking convenient. Room was dated and not serviced until we left, so after 4 days trash and dirty linens were piled. Life machine didn’t work, no fridge, tv didn’t work, lighting was poor. Dated and tired room that needed refreshed."

"The carpet and floor were sticky. The front desk moved me to another room, but it was still sticky. It had an old file smell on the carpets. I just left. I asked for my money back, but they didn’t give it to me. I left and found another place across town. I couldn't tolerate the smell and the old furniture there."

"This property is immaculate! Bedrooms are HUGE and open space of kitchen and great room is an EXCELLENT gathering area...and at the back of the house - so no outside disturbances. Great location to navigate both Orange Beach and Gulf Shores along with inland communities. Although we had some challenges with the internet; service staff was extremely helpful (over a holiday) and rectified the situation in a timely manner. HIGHLY recommend this property. "

"The continental breakfast was good. Although, it used to have more options. The room was odd. Was a lot of dead space where maybe a kitchenette used to be. No mirror for the vanity area, so I actually moved the full length mirror from near the door to use. The toilet paper holders looked like they were going to fall off the wall. They held the roll, although I'm not sure how exactly. Don't plan on sleeping in past 7am. It's constant door slamming up and down the hallways. Not sure if from other...
