"We had a lovely stay. The Queens room, with the tub was great after a day of sightseeing. The food was great and the staff was very friendly with suggestions and just great to chat with. Would stay there again."

"Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful."

"I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked on a whim to be close to St Andrews without St Andrews prices. Upon first glance my husband thought I was crazy, he assumed it would be run down, and not offer much because it was not in the city center. He sure changed his tune on that once we checked in. "The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner/host ended up greeting and checking us into our room. Gave us an upgrade and onsite laundry facility was a bonus. Made several recommendations for dining and breakfast. Overall the stay was fabulous!"

"Arrived at hotel early evening. Had problems from beginning i.e. trying to log in to pay for parking, enquiries re breakfast. Staff do not know anything about parking, restaurant and leisure facilities as they are all owned separately. Have stayed here often over previous years but sadly it has gone downhill. However, the room was clean, bed and bedding was very comfortable and bathroom/shower came with soap and toiletry sachets. We didn't get breakfast as it didn't look worth paying £14. ...
