"We booked a night to stay here for a nearby event, and location wise it's great. I received a message in the morning saying our room was available much earlier then check in is advertised, so we decided to go earlier and drop our things off. The receptionist advised that our room was not ready but put us in one of the luxury rooms that was ready instead, so despite the mistake there were no problems. "I arrived to my room on a sunny day to find a broken fan. I quickly called reception but proceeded to sweat for 30 mins as I kept waiting and calling for a replacement. Later, it took almost two hours to receive a iron once again after repeated asks. Then, on both Saturday and Sunday mornings I was woken up by the housekeeping with a knock on the door to clean the room at 9am. The hotel uses single use plastics and provided body wash containers which were way too small. Breakfast was inedible....

"Finding a rodent trap under bed was a unique experience. There was also a pungent smell of decay. Unsure if one has to do with the other. Sad the property is so historic could be beautiful."

"Stayed here after going to a concert at Wembley. Two adults, four teenage girls, the room had a double bed and two sets of bunks. The room was great, exactly what we needed. Comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, complete with toiletries and towels. They provided really nice coffee bags instead of the cheap instant granules found in a lot of hotels. All in all, it was a great stay. Nice and close to the underground and lots of options for food. The staff were so friendly and helpful."
