"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). "Sad tired old hotel, smelled appalling both in the corridors and our room. Saggy bed, no hand soap in bathroom, stains on carpet and furniture and windowsill. Only one working elevator.
Faulty fire alarm kept everyone awake until 3am. "Loved my stay! Very easy check in on the tablets. Room was cool with the lights. Everything was done on an iPad which was pretty cool. My tv worked but kept glitching so bit annoying.
Bed was comfy. Only thing is the blinds being functioned from the iPad mine kept catching and wouldn’t go down after a certain point. Pretty annoying. I did try myself but didn’t want to break anything. It would catch every single time and go slanted.
Great stay and location. Would def stay again"

"The room was clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful (providing map, directions, recommendations of where to eat, carrying my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs for me, storing my luggage pre and post stay) and the location was great, very conveniently located near Paddington station and near places to eat and shop.
It is in a very pretty street with trees and grass through the middle of the street and beautiful buildings on each side of the street.

"The front entrance to this beautiful property was pristine and it was the same throughout. The staff were friendly, competent and very helpful.
The added bonus to this hotel was the fabulous outdoor terrace and lower seating area- a rarity in a London hotel.
Whilst there is no food service, there is complimentary tea and coffee in the small lounge area aswell as the usual kettle and instant hot drinks in the room. Another bonus was the fridge in the room - again a rarity in most London hotels....

"Great breakfast, tho it wasn't free. Clean room, fantastic staff/customer service. Honestly the only thing I really wasn't a fan of was that the AC was not great, particularly since I was there during a heat wave. But then, I'm told AC is not a very commonly good think in the UK in general, so...there you are! And they did actually bring a fan up unasked when I complained about the temp. In all, an excellent budget stay!"
