"We loved our stay at the Lion Inn! From check in to check out and every moment in between the staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Oakley Room and it was just perfect, a stunning room with gorgeous decor and attention to detail, only made better by the huge bathtub! We had breakfast on both mornings of our stay which was delicious and filling with a variety of options. I would highly recommend and stay at The Lion for your visit to the Cotswolds! "

The daily breakfast was very delicious and quite generous but the gem of the hotel is really the staff who are courteous, helpful, and most professional. "Only one small gripe....check out time, 10 am. I think this is too early, most hotels are 11am or even 12 noon. In addition I couldn't seem to find this information on hotels website."

"Courteous reception staff and although we knew we had arrived early (as we were having afernoon tea down the road, as the room was ready we were allowed to check in early, which saved leaving things in a cold car for a few hours. Room was spacious and quiet with great facilities, toiletries, coffee machine, bottles of water etc which were replenished daily. Great breakfast options with tea and coffee refills on request. Lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds with courteous,...
