"A beautiful old building with lovely gardens and staff who were very helpful and courteous. The hotel was in a peaceful location positioned on a hill above the town. It was only a 30 minute walk along small lanes, offering amazing views of Tuscan countryside and the city of Florence into the city centre. "Apartment spotless, well equipped kitchen. The host was very welcoming and thoughtful, always willing to help. Our stay was for 2 weeks, so Claudia left us a care package to get us started, pasta, sauce, milk, coffee, etc, as we arrived later. Property very safe, gated.
