Hostage and cockroaches

They wouldn't give us a room until I called hotels.com, they wanted me to listen to a timeshare sale. It felt almost like being held hostage. Check in was at 4pm we arrived after 4 and was told that we would have to wait a couple of hours. To top it off I found a cockroach in the kitchen

A wonderful surprise

I booked this hotel initially just for the beach location on Ocean Blvd. My room turned out to be a suite including a full kitchen, living room and hot tub. The room had 2 balconies. Multiple pools and a Tiki bar led directly to the beach. Jet skis etc were available for rent on the beach at that exact location. The staff was helpful and the facility was immaculate. It was a long walk to the club area on Commercial Blvd, but a city shuttle took you there.

Couple Getaway

Room was very clean and comfortable. Great views of the city and partial view of beach. Staff very friendly as courteous. No complaints. We had a great stay.

No mask mandate indoors or in the lifts

This is a nice resort in a good location and our 2 bed apartment was extremely spacious. The staff were also very friendly. However, the resort does not request mask-wearing for guests indoors (unlike the other resorts we stayed in) which is a concern for international travellers who need to secure a negative covid test before flying home. This was a particular concern in the lifts as most guests chose not to wear masks. Whilst we could use the stairs to go down, there was no stair access to go up as the door was locked. We asked on the first day for it to be opened, but the following day it was locked again. This lack of control in avoiding potential exposure to covid just before we were due to fly home caused some anxiety..

Great location, directly on the beach. Very disappointed in Expedia, they overbooked and I had to cancel one of my rooms. The manager stated Expedia does this all the time and she has to find alternative places for guests to stay. I called Expedia and they did nothing about it, seems like they’ve felt with it before. Won’t ever book through Expedia again. It’s not the resorts fault, they don’t take reservations since it’s a time share resort. Book through Happy Holiday’s, they’re a legit company!

Mostly good but gave us room with no Ocean view

Mostly a good stay. One big disappointment was that we booked a room with Ocean view but was given a city view instead. They did give us a 2 BR suite instead of a 1BR which we booked. Pool was heated which was great my kids enjoyed it and they require reservation to use the pool due to covid so it was only us in the pool for a duration. Rooms were clean and spacious so that was a plus. Would book here again if we are guaranteed an ocean view which we booked and charged extra for.

Good location

Friends trip. Property was having some remodeling done. Check in was a little confusing as the lobby was closed. Elevators are extremely slow. Great location and beach access.

Mycket rymligt och fräscht

Fick en stor lägenhet med sovrum, kök, vardagsrum och två badrum. Stor hörnbalkong med stolar och bord. Mycket välutrustat kök. Allt helt nyrenoverat. Fräscha möbler. Fint poolområde direkt vid stranden
