"I did not get a breakfast menu nor did I get a text about ordering extra towels like the front guest service told me. But overall all was good "

"The breakfast was hot and ready. The Air conditioning worked properly. The front desk was knowledgeable of the area for directions. The room was cleaned upon our return. I was happy and will come back again in the near future."

"This hotel is on Shelter Island, a perfect place near the airport and downtown, but away from the busy streets and noise of the city. A lovely park alongside the bay is across the street, with a small playground for small children. One side of the hotel faces the marina, while the other side faces San Diego bay. Second floor rooms have the best views!"

"Overall the room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I was able to check in early with no issues which was nice. Room was decently clean, just a few things I noticed that I feel like would have elevated the experience, like the lamps and decor were dusty."

"The bathroom had a cinch other than that. It was clean and the staff was helpful. The safe didn't work but they came up to fix it. But the stench was coming either from the sewage, and I had to close the bathroom door.\n They kept the the doors open at night. The exits open at night. And the place smelled like fresh paint\nI don't know if it was to hide the stench of the sewage again other than that , the place was clean but the stench was something special"

"Check in is supposed to be at 4, but rooms were not ready at that time for us or several other guests. We all waited in a line for at least 30 minutes. I had to be at a dinner by 5, so I actually had to change and get ready for my event in the bathroom off the lobby. The staff seemed panicked and unable to cope. In addition, the room we eventually got had paper thin walls and the AC fan was so loud to literally made the wall vibrate. We had to turn it off cause it was impossible to sleep otherwise. Terrible experience "

"Pay attention to your booking. They tried to give us a basic room at check after we paid $300 more to upgrade to a premium room. Also check your bill at check out. The property was okay. Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Food options were limited on the property. IMO it wasn’t worth the money we spent. "

"Property was beautiful! I booked the junior suite—very spacious and great for families, with three sinks, a fridge, microwave, and a patio. The room itself is a bit older and had a slight musty smell, but overall still comfortable. The heated pool was terrific! The restaurant on the property was delicious, and there are plenty of other dining options within walking distance. Parking was convenient. Please note that the suites do not have elevators, so you’ll need to walk upstairs with your luggage. It took a few trips, but it wasn’t a big deal."
