"We had driven for two days and were a little upset when we got there our room not ready at 3pm. Even at 4 PM regular check-in time they’re still not ready so that was just exhausting. Finally, we got into our room and it was a nice room with a gorgeous view over the next five days that we stay there a couple things stood out to me. The staff and workers were all great very nice including Jimmya Denise. Connie. Everybody was very helpful delivered extra blankets because it was a cold week, but there were some things that were too bad. The swimming pools were freezing cold and basically unusable. The weather was running between 40 and 60° and even the indoor pool was freezing, so my kids were unable to enjoy the pool, which is one of the reasons why we booked the hotel another thing that was very difficult was the elevator continue to break down on the entire time we were there and we were at the bar and of a long hallway on the sixth floor with a dog that had to be brought out every few hours so going up and down the flight upstairs was exhausting and they kept telling us they were getting the elevator fixed, but then it would break down the same day again! I will have to say that we will definitely be back to Myrtle Beach, but unfortunately, we will not be booking with this resort. We did have the chance to eat at ocean blue the food was very good. We were one of the only people eating in there so we were served very fast but it is pricey! Floating river a joke."

"I booked a king and got 2 queen beds. The hot tub water was dirty. The floor was not clean. The elevator was very slow"

"Pool, beach access, and other amenities were great. The hotel is different. Room had a large rattle being next to the elevator, and the USB/outlets didnt work at all. Also, there is a additional charge for using a credit card and checking in an hour early."

"Front desk person was pushy for the presentation even after I said no three times. Pillows too soft as I prefer a firm pillow. Mildred smell in my condo, like the AC unit was leaking into the carpet. "

"We had a good stay at Compass Cove. The units are getting a bit tired looking, but overall, we had fun and our room overlooked the beach, as promised. We had a couple minor issues with our room and the front desk dealt with them quickly. The corridors can be noisy at times and noise from above rooms is noticable. Next time, we'll look for something quieter, north of all the hoopla."

"I skipped breakfast. I didn’t see anything I liked. I reported a rat I saw by the soda machine out front and the clerk chased it away with a broom. The ice machine on the 2nd floor didn’t work. The room was clean and checked everyday. The price was good. A/C worked fine. Strong marijuana smells came fien the hall and was in the elevator each day."

"The view from the room is not what we expected. We expected a direct oceanview and balcony facing the ocean where we could hang out on the balcony. All rooms face to the left or right hotal with no direct ocean front rooms. The bacony is 2' wide and can only fit plastic chairs sideways. Location is great. Parking at the hotel was limited as it seems non-hotel residents park there. Mattress seemed old and overly soft. Its truely a 3 star hotel."
