"The hotel was beautiful and clean. It was in the center of the old town. Restaurants on the streets on either side of the hotel. Music everywhere. One block from the water and one block from the Main Street. Everything you could imagine was in walking distance of the hotel. The best part was the rooftop infinity pool and the views from the rooftop were spectacular. Best breakfast buffet ever and it’s included in the stay. I’d recommend Barcelo Funchal Oldtime to anyone who wants to experience...

"Property was quite nice, couldn't ask for a nicer looking hotel. But I am exhausted.... Personally my bed at home is a bit hard, so when I go on vacation I look forward to a soft bed, this was not that, in fact, the worst ever. I've only ever had it where a bed was as hard as this one and it was in Cuba. I debated on going to sleep on the couches in the pool room, they were softer then the bed. I didn't think a hard bed would have impacted my vacation this much, but when you can't get one good...
