"Tracy, the owner met us when we arrived and was very polite and friendly. Our room was clean and had everything you would need with lots of towels, soap, shampoo, fridge and a/c. Daljit was our housekeeper and she was very friendly and helpful. We got to see 4 other rooms and all were very clean and bright. This is an old building and this shows in the character however the price was very reasonable and clean. My husband and I would definitely stay here again!"

"Do not book this place. There is a reason they still have rooms available at the last minute. Our room was dirty, with hair all over the bathroom. Housekeeping was nice and cleaned it right away. The balcony only had two chairs. When we asked for another, we were told there weren’t any available, even though we could see plenty downstairs. The “hotel breakfast” is actually at Tim Hortons 1.5 km away. We stayed patient, but the last straw was being told we couldn’t use the empty pool after...

"Remodelled rooms really nice. Pool is well maintained and a nice amenity for this location.Only complaint was that the fridge freezer needs defrosting. Could add a second barbecue to pool area for peak times.Also stairs to second floor for bad knee senior a bit of a challenge. Other than that we recommend the Sunshine Lodge."

"Very unique stay downtown Squamish. Rooms were fun and stylish though could have been a bit cleaner- don’t look in the corners. It was loud but not a problem and they provide earplugs, which we didn’t need. The beds are amazing. The main inconvenience was the lack of parking- the map of available street parking that was posted was not accurate and we found it tough to find an overnight spot."

"This property is overpriced for what is available. At $500 per night I anticipate more than cafeteria style restaraunt with self ordering required and limited -very limited menu. Room smelled most. Towels were threadbare, no robes…only plus was comfy pillows. We won’t return"

"Lou’s cabin was perfect for our family. It’s a rustic cabin with modern amenities. The back yard was very inviting and we were able to use the grill and play bocce ball. It was in town right next to an urban trail system, but still felt private. A bear walked right through the front yard one evening!"
