"Lovely rooms and a comft bed. I had the the biggest room they have and it was bigger than I expected, with enough floor space for luggage and moving around with ease. Bathroom was a bit too small for my liking and the water pressure could have been stronger. Lovely girl who checked me in and out."

I will say my only criticism is that the sink water: I passed a napkin through the running water & it came out dark, so I wouldn’t suggest washing your mouth with it; instead, bring your own bottled water. They do have water bottles in the room, but you’ll be charged $7 a bottle, and who knows how long those waters sat there before me as they were lukewarm. But other than that, nice...

I learned that you need to ask front desk to close it. Also - hotel provides car service to and from airport. Super convenient and cheaper than uber. Enjoy!"

"I chose the Standard because the Moxy wasn't available. I needed to be near my son's NYU dorm on 3rd. Ave. The Standard proved to be fantastic and I will definitely return. Rudy at the front desk was really friendly and professional. The parking was explained clearly to me. Rudy gave me an upgrade to a higher floor so I'd have a fantastic view. "We had a great stay at the maritime hotel. Great staff, and the room had great western views towards the Hudson (small sliver of a view of the river) and a few fantastic buildings by Heatherwick, BIG, Nouvel, and Gehry….all from our little porthole window. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, mainly cheap croissants, but the coffee was good enough. The west village is one of the best places to stay in the city and we would happily stay here again."
