My main issues were with the cleanliness of the rooms, like the floor being dirty, shower not clean and the dining table in the room had crumbs on it. "Positive remarks: easy on-site parking for reasonable price, cool decorative elements in lobby and vintage furniture. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were nice. Negative remarks: the elevator was super scary and has not been inspected or certified by the city in 10+ years, broken buttons, rickety sounds, we mostly took the stairs. The bed linens seemed very old, just a sheet and paper-thin comforter. The photos online make the place look fancy, and it probably was 40 years ago, but it is now quite worn and shabby. "

"Ac is okay, pillow was given 3, but rather soft. Overall good location, good and decent hotel, but whenever nearby room door is closed, the air will make a loud sound to my door too. So when chambermaid is cleaning up rooms around mine, it will be endless slamming sound on my door too. "

"I’ll take the hit for not better preparing myself for the terrible parking situation. For those that haven’t been in downtown San Francisco in a while it’s as disgusting and urine filled as ever. I wasn’t excited about the $40 tourism charge upon check-in even though I had prepaid on Expedia. And the staff said that it was a $20 overnight parking fee…… It was over double that…… the room was clean for the most part except underneath the bed was absolutely disgusting, and I only knew about that because one of my kids toys rolled underneath there. The continental breakfast was absolutely terrible. If you show up anytime after eight, don’t expect there to be anything. I do not recommend anybody stay here."
