"Lovely ‘simple self-catering’ in the heart of Dartmoor. Great set of appliances to have a nice coffee and brekky in bed! Coffee and non-dairy milk included - thank you Terry :) we really enjoyed our stay and had a super sleep. The hot tub looked inviting but the weather was just a bit too miserable for us to venture out there. Next time!"

"Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. "After a full day of walking what a treat the Station House was! Beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, the use of the common room, a informative book about the property and local suggestions as well as a cafe of delicious food."

"Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history"

"Food was great, staff very helpful, bar and dining room very tidy and clean, good range of drinks, both alcoholic and soft although I am out of touch with prices so had a bit of a shock. This is not a negative, just reality. Plenty of parking and convenient at the rear to avoid stairs. Some areas are in need of decorating such as stairwell and corridors however not terrible. Outside areas need tidying around the back of the building but the beer garden/smoking area was good. Wheel chair...

"What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return."

"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"Eine ganz hervorragende Unterkunft. Das beginnt beim Empfang, es wird einem alles abgenommen, das Gepäck etwa oder das Parken. Das Personal ist zurückhaltend, aber immer präsent und ansprechbar. Für alle Wünsche werden Lösungen gefunden. Das Haus an sich ist wunderschön, mit einer Terrasse, die einen großartigen Blick in Garten und Tal ermöglicht. Der Nachmittagstee, Abendessen und Frühstück waren ganz hervorragend. Auch die Zimmer kann man positiv hervorheben. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!"
