"Room had trash under the beds. The property has no filtered water except in a vending machine. Very good ac unit, free wifi, great views. Blue line train to and from airport and red line to and from wrigley field was awesome and cheap and right next to the hotel."

"The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful in finding parking. Someone had gotten sick in the pool, so it was closed for cleaning, which was disappointing. Overall a good stay. Would stay there again."

"Very close to Grant Park good hotel overall, but they are connected to the garden Inn so they literally have two elevators one goes to gardening. The other goes to Homewood literally same front door same desk so you have to wait to check in until you can get someone and then you literally get assigned to the Homewood suites elevator kind of ridiculous to stick two entirely separate hotels with one front desk"

"It was very safe on the bed. The AC was in the perfect condition possible in the room, the only things I want to complain about is the TV Channel not going to YouTube. A lot of modern TVs should go to YouTube. The water not going to hot mode, and there are no microwaves."

"The rooms were bigger than expected! Very nice hotel and helpful staff. We arrived early than check in time was able to check in early for a fee. They had staff everywhere whom were very helpful with directions or if need any type of transportation. This was my second time staying here. Great location for all the things in the city!"

"If you stay in an interior room of the hotel I rate it 4 stars BUT the external entrance room 111 on the ground floor was dirty, curtains dangling from rod, door lock loose, worn furniture and carpet filthy, sunlight and air coming through the door, smoking allowed outside the room and everyone who came there to smoke , you hot their second hand smoke through the AC and crack in door entrance. "The hotel was better than okay but hardly the 9.4 Wonderful Rating it got. Not even close. I am writing this review because I feel like I was conned. Nothing wrong with this hotel, other than the flimsy bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close fully, but, despite this gripe, and the water pressure was minimal, the staff was very nice and the room was both comfortable and clean. I'd give my experience a Very Good but no more."

"The suite was terrible. It was crowded, the carpet seemed dirty. The sofa bed mattress was old and stained. The blanket given was stuck together with something blue. The queen bed had a lumpy mattress which hurt my back. Hot water smelled like sulphur. There was mold on the floor near the tub. I’ve stayed here before in different kind of room and it was lovely. This room was unsatisfactory. The staff here is so pleasant. What a shame that this room was not up to standard."

"We stayed here just one night on route up from Nashville toward a road-trip around Lake Michigan. It was cost-effective and a good location but it was a very pleasant surprise. We didn't get a chance to use the casino but the room was exceptional - it felt brand new, all the amenities were great and the bed wonderfully comfortable - would thoroughly recommend if you aren't looking to stay in the centre and need somewhere south of the city"

"Room had toothpaste splattered on the mirror, someone’s hair all over the floor in the bathroom, huge stains on the walls, used tissue in the toilet. I tried to flush it and the toilet didn’t seem to want to flush I tried3 times and it finally went down and the phone in the room had some sort of grease all over it and was never cleaned.
